- 1+ in design and supporting the development of new products and services.
- Background in product experience (PX), user experience (UX), experience design (XD), information architecture (IA), interaction design (IxD), or visual/user interface design (UI).
Description We are seeking a talented Intermediate UX Designer to support our Trading team. The ideal candidate will have a background in UX design and familiarity with financial services. This role requires strong proficiency in problem-solving, technical aptitude, and decision-making skills. Key Responsibilities
- Support the Advisor Platform team and AVP/VP designers with UX design tasks.
- Identify and provide effective solutions to design-related challenges as assigned.
- Create and manage user interfaces in Figma leveraging a design system and features such as auto layout.
- Create interactive prototypes for usability testing to inform design decisions.
- Contribute to the growth and maintenance of a domain-specific UI kit.
- Collaborate with developers to uncover constraints, refine, and implement designs using Jira.
- Attend meetings and document outcomes in Confluence to ensure alignment on design direction.
- Review blueprints, storyboards, personas, journey maps, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs to understand the problem.
- Manage time efficiently, communicate clearly with team members, and organize tasks effectively. Skills and Competencies
- Wireframing and Prototyping
- Creating wireframes and prototypes to visualize design concepts in Figma.
- Information Architecture
- Organizing and structuring content effectively. Creating sitemaps and navigation systems.
- Design System
- Proficient in utilizing an enterprise design system with Figma to ensure consistency and efficiency across projects. Engage the design system team as needed.
- Usability Testing
- Participating in testing to evaluate the effectiveness of designs and iterate designs based on research reports.
- Collaboration
- Working closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders. Communicating design ideas and rationale effectively.
