Product Designer Position Available In Mecklenburg, North Carolina

Description Robert Half Marketing & Creative is looking for a product designer for one of our top clients in Charlotte, NC! This position is a hybrid contract opportunity. We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented Product Designer to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll own the end-to-end design process—from concept to final implementation—helping shape products that are intuitive, elegant, and impactful. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and other stakeholders to design solutions that meet both user needs and business goals. Key Responsibilities + Lead the design process across the product lifecycle: discovery, research, wireframing, prototyping, testing, and final UI. + Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, the voice of the customer, user journeys, and usability findings. + Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to define product requirements and ensure high-quality implementation. + Conduct user research, usability testing, and translate insights into meaningful design improvements. + Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and reusable components. + Present design concepts and deliverables to stakeholders for feedback and approval. + Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices to ensure product excellence. Requirements Qualifications + 3+ years of experience as a Product Designer, UX/UI Designer, or similar role. + Strong portfolio showcasing UX and visual design work on real products. + Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, or similar. + Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, responsive design, and accessibility best practices. + Experience conducting user research and applying insights to design. + Excellent communication and collaboration skills. + Familiarity with front-end development is a plus.
