In this role, you will focus on tacklingcomplex problems and transforming them into seamless, user-centeredexperiences across our product portfolio, particularly in the realmof Edge applications, hardware, and enterprise solutions. What you will doWe’re looking for someone with strongproblem-solving abilities who can turn intricate technology intosimple, intuitive experiences for the humans who use it everyday. Design end-to-end user experiences, from discovery toonboarding to support Collaborate with researchers, designers, developers, andproduct managers Gather business requirements and present recommendations tostakeholders. Strong ability to grasp and simplify complex processes in orderto design a simplified user experience Create journeys, mockups, wireframes, and other designassets Build strong relationships with developers and product managersto ensure seamless collaboration Identify and address usability issues with actionableimprovements Contribute to and engage with PatternFly, our designsystem Offer feedback and mentorship to fellow designersWhat you willbring 5+ years of experience with designing user experience forapplications Experience in designing for Edge Computing and/or embeddedhardware systems Understanding of Edge computing, including distributedcomputing and cloud integration Ability to advocate for high-quality and simple userexperiences throughout complex processes Comfortable collaborating and explaining ideas acrossteams Use data effectively to inform design decisions Adaptable to changing situations and requirements Portfolio demonstrating design process and skillsThe followingare considered a plus Experience designing user experiences for any of the following:industrial systems, automotive technologies, or similarenvironments Demonstrated an ability to collaborate with developers andproduct managers to simplify complex Edge/hardware systeminteractions Experience designing experiences that enhance productivity andreduce friction for developers working with Edge/hardwaretechnologies Experience with agile development Proven track record of leading design creation and deliveringhigh-quality results on schedule Experience with open-source projects#LI-HM1The salary range forthis position is $111,260.00

Pay TransparencyRed Hat determinescompensation based on several factors including but not limited tojob location, experience, applicable skills and training, externalmarket value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is onecomponent of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may alsobe eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positionswith Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the positionmay differ based on location but will be commensurate with jobduties and relevant work experience.
