Our client is seeking a highly skilled Wireless Network Consulting Engineer to support Enterprise Medical accounts. This role involves critical customer-facing responsibilities and focuses on the delivery of wireless design, implementation, and optimization services to major healthcare accounts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing RF designs, providing predictive RF planning, and ensuring cost-effective solutions while meeting customer requirements. This position requires a strong background in RF design for healthcare environments and expertise in Cisco Wi-Fi solutions.
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive RF designs using Ekahau, including WLC configuration and integration within project delivery frameworks. Develop predictive RF planning and designs that balance customer requirements with cost-effective solutions. Engage with customers to validate requirements and adapt to flexible delivery needs. Assist in the development of business and technical requirements for network projects. Contribute to high-level and low-level network design activities. Support network implementation planning, configuration, connectivity activities, test planning, and cutover activities. Initiate and recommend projects to improve customer satisfaction and overall customer experience. Qualifications BS/BE/B.Tech degree or equivalent in a related field. Minimum of 8+ years of experience in the IT industry, particularly in network engineering and Wi-Fi solutions. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Cisco Wi-Fi portfolio, including 9800 Wireless Controllers, APs, Cisco Spaces, and BLE. Expert level RF design skills with Ekahau product suite and solid AutoCAD skills. Understanding and experience with ISE product line as it pertains to Wi-Fi deployments. Experience in installation, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and network solution designing of Cisco Wi-Fi solutions. Knowledge of third-party products such as Ruckus, Aruba, Huawei, and Ericsson is highly preferred. Scripting skills in Python or Pearl are advantageous. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical strategies to a range of stakeholders. Relevant certifications such as CCNP, Ekahau certification, CWNE, or CWNP are preferred.
