Job Title Senior UX Designer/Researcher The Role Fidelity Charitable is looking for a Senior UX Designer/Researcher who is passionate about uncovering insights to make charitable giving simple and effective. We are crafting digital experiences that inspire donors to make more of a difference with their philanthropic dollars. It’s a fast-paced environment where decisions are customer-centric, data-focused, collaborative, and iterative. The Expertise and Skills You Bring 5-7+ years of UX design experience preferred. 5+ years on agile teams delivering value in digital products preferred 5-7+ years of experience organizing, conducting, and/or using research to support evidence-focused design decisions a must. A digital portfolio we can review online is required. A drive to design the overall end-to-end user experience – from the big picture (the overall user experience and consistency across an entire product) down to specifics of UI layout for a feature or flow. Identify, plan and conduct user research to understand the customer problems to address. Ability to create sketches, wireframes, user flows, mockups, prototypes, and other product artifacts to effectively communicate the’ why’ behind your designs while aligning with product requirements. Familiarity with the value of design systems, understanding reuse and scale, and knowing when to contribute to make them better. Must have experience with and be comfortable working in a rapid, iterative software development process. Effective communication skills – as a writer, presenter, and facilitator with the ability to give and receive feedback. Fostering collaboration with other UX designers, researchers and stakeholders. Serve as an ambassador for the UX design & research team across Fidelity Charitable, promoting design principles and the importance of user research. You’re creative, imaginative, and curious. Design and research make you happy. Proficiency in Figma required. Experience with user research applications preferred.
