The Digital Technology Services (DTS) Lead User Interface User Experience (UI/UX) Designer designs intuitive and engaging user interfaces for software products at Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH). Works closely with stakeholders, product managers, and developers to create tools and products that are user-friendly and meet customer needs.
Qualifications:
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required :
Bachelor’s degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field, and/or applicable technical certificate, and/or equivalent related experience. Minimum of 4-7 (or 8+ if no degree) years of experience as a User Interface User Experience (UI/UX) Designer. Able to share a portfolio with examples of user interface designs you created. Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and best practices. Proven ability to design user-centered interfaces that are both functional and aesthetically clean. Excellent collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience working with stakeholders and analysts to discover, refine, and prioritize features. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma or Sketch. Attention to detail, critical thinking, desire to learn, and intellectually curious. Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Agile work process. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office platforms.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred :
