Remote Senior UX Researcher – Design System Research (PK3-18560781) Position Available In Somerset, New Jersey

Full Job DescriptionOur client, a well known and highly regarded pharmaceutical company, is currently seeking a freelance Senior UX Researcher to join their Experience Design team focusing on measurement of results as it pertains to Design Systems.

This is remote role, 40hrs/week working EST (with flexibility to collaborate occasionally with EMEA partners) through December 2025. This will start ASAP after interview and onboarding process and has potential to extend based on business need and performance.

• This is not a C2C role, only W2
• UX Researcher MUST have experience in design system research and measurement for an evolving design system to be considered.

Brief Description:

Collaborate with XD design team + business and tech partners, and subject matter experts, to support the measurement of objectives and key results, validating the effectiveness of overall approach and experience design decisions, and recommending and executing best practice process and design system improvements to address those finding as needed.

Role Expectations

• Lead the effort to define how best to measure the success of the end-to-end experience of onboarding users to a new theme-able design systems approach to designing and developing commercial product digital experiences
• Lead the effort to plan and conduct the activities underpinning this effort, such as user interviews, usability testing, evaluating quantitative and qualitative data, synthesizing insights, identifying pain points, and recommending and executing on a path forward to meet objectives and achieve desired key results
• Align to existing, evolving design system standards and to global, parent design system standards.
• Collaborate with leadership to shape, prioritize, and provide guidance on design system strategy and implementation.
• Assist with piloting end-to-end design system work flows, evolving and maintaining design system assets to meet user needs.
