The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create user-centered designs, wireframes, prototypes, and optimized Salesforce Lightning interfaces that meet user needs and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
User Experience Design:
Design and deliver intuitive, user-friendly Salesforce UI components and applications. Translate business and technical requirements into wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes. Conduct user research, interviews, surveys, and usability testing to guide UX decisions. Define user personas, journey maps, and interaction flows to drive consistency and usability across platforms.
Salesforce Customization:
Focus on UX for Salesforce Lightning Experience and Salesforce Mobile Apps. Utilize Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS) for design consistency and compliance. Optimize custom Salesforce interfaces for performance, usability, and accessibility.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with Salesforce developers to ensure design feasibility and accurate implementation. Document design patterns, style guides, and UI specifications for development and QA teams. Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
User Testing & Feedback:
Lead usability testing efforts and integrate feedback into design iterations. Analyze usage data to identify UX improvements and optimize user workflows.
Technical Profile:
Salesforce Lightning and SLDS expertise Proficient with design tools: Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD (or similar) Strong grasp of UI/UX design principles (color theory, typography, responsive layout) Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript (for collaboration with developers)
Functional Profile:
UX strategy and user research Wireframing and prototyping User persona and journey mapping Agile/iterative development environments Design documentation and developer handoff
