Work Hours:

37.5 hrs/week Job Summary UX/graphic designer for all our digital endpoints: web, Helium (MTA app), TrainTime, screens. Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end design process, from ideation through iteration to launch.

• Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across digital platforms (including all signage for

NYCT/LIRR/MNR

).

• Partner with UXR to understand rider needs, behaviors, and pain points; maintain a user feedback loop to continuously improve the experience.
• Establish and document UX processes and best practices.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on user needs and business goals. Experience and Education
• 8+ years of experience in UX design, with a focus on mobile applications.
• Proven experience leading UX for complex digital products.
• Excellent visual design skills & experience with design systems.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in the transportation industry or related fields; experience with accessibility guidelines.

Stay updated on industry trends in web design and e-commerce to continuously enhance our products. Qualifications Proven experience in web design with a strong portfolio showcasing your design work. Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Fireworks, and Qualtrics. Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and best practices for online shopping experiences. Experience conducting user research to inform design decisions. Proficient in using WordPress for designing and managing websites. Strong understanding of design patterns and usability principles. Excellent communication skills to articulate design concepts effectively to stakeholders. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects.
