Experience Designer
Description:
Our client has an immediate need for a User Experience Designer, who is responsible for working with project teams, designing and delivering high-quality client-centered, effective, consistent, and usable interface
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in a related field or experience in lieu of a degree
UX Bootcamp Design Certifications are a plus 3-5 years of experience Experience with Design Systems
Experience with Figma
Experience Managing Meetings & Presentations
Experience with Systems Thinking
Experience with UI Design, UX Design, and Design System
Individual Contributor Designer experience Illustration Background is a plus
Responsibilities:
Create and update documentation and visual guides for designing components and patterns
Maintain clear and comprehensive design specs to support handoff to development teams
Build, fix, and test reusable components in Figma
Design and test components for use in Angular applications, ensuring alignment with design guidelines and technical feasibility
Partner with content strategists and ADA accessibility experts to ensure compliance and inclusivity
Support the design community by answering help desk questions and facilitating open office hours
Participate in early design reviews with product designers to ensure alignment with system standards
Attend or facilitate design system design reviews and governance meetings
Research, audit, and prepare topics for design system governance and improvement
Coordinate and participate in working sessions across product teams to align on system usage and evolution
Conduct competitive analysis of other design systems to identify improvements and innovations
Contribute to special projects or design initiatives as requested by leadership or the design systems team
