  • Under the direction of the Product Tribe Design Lead, this role is responsible for partnering with our business leaders, consultants and agile squads to ensure the voice of the customer is translated into meaningful and easy to use capabilities.

This role will collaborate closely with product tribe leaders, product owners, product specialists, engineers, and other designers/researchers to ensure the successful implementation of product design strategies. A successful candidate should exhibit passion about creating innovative products and bring thought leadership and best in class product design skills to create positive user experiences and user research to guide our squads in meeting the needs of diverse stakeholders and customers. Be a good communicator who builds strong relationships and partnerships focusing on collaboration, building consensus and driving design through influence. Be an analytical thinker, with a desire and ability to develop and document a deep understanding of users’ needs and behaviors across multiple customer segments and environments. Create compelling digital experiences that bring value to a customer’s operations and make it easy to partner with Cencora. Mentor, coach, and pair with product design team members to support their development and continuous progress.

  • Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with researchersto understand the relevant participant populationRecruit, contact, and screen potential participants to enable efficiency and scalability of research studiesManage and update key tracking and forecasting tools (e.

g., CXSI portfolio dashboard) that ensure efficient management and deployment of resourcesAct as program lead for the Healthier Futures Index (HFI), Cencora’s global, flagship study of relationship health with our customersOrganize, consolidate, manage and maintain the Knowledge Center, Cencora’s centralized repository of research studies for team and enterprise-wide visibility and accessibilityCommunicate professionally and timely with customers who participate in research to ensure a positive experience for all research participantsLead the development and documentation of standard processes for a participant research databaseEnsure database stays up to date as research studies are completed and customers/employees volunteer for researchLead initiatives to recruit internal employees and customers, includingthe incorporation of research initiatives in internal newsletters and presentations, and partnership with IT colleagues to recruit on e-commerce platforms and websitesProcure the necessary tools or software to support the research process in compliance with enterprise policiesAct as the liaison with the office of legal compliance to ensure FMV incentives used for research purposes are tracked and aligned with company policiesFacilitate the compliance and payment processes for research studiesIdentify ways to continue to elevate research operations through improved governance, knowledge management and processesleading to increasedefficiency, communication, improved research infrastructure, and organization

  • Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Master’s degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI) or equivalent professional experience is required7+years in research operations or program management, in a Fortune 500 environment, ideally in a fast-paced industry setting or within complex organizationsProven track record of uilding and scalingprocesses to enable research efficiency and ensure a positive experience for those participating in researchExperience standardizing and documenting processes around research operationsExperience developing and maintainingresearch participant databases8+ years experience in digital product design for both web and mobile platformsExperience working in a mixed methodology environment (waterfall and agile)Experience designing graphic user interfaces for complex applicationsStrong product design strategy skills in areas of consumer/user research and analysis, personas and customer journeys, design thinking, ideation and brainstorming techniques, sketching, prototyping, and concept validationExpert ability to understand & create product strategies, journey maps, user-flows, and content structureAdvanced experience leading, coaching, and mentoring product design teamsAbility to work closely with agile squads to drive effective and efficient implementation of processes and designsKnowledge of how HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other web languages impact design process and developmentExcellent presentation, communication, documentation and organization skillsStrong presence, including ability to partner with and effectively influence product and engineer leadersSkilled at communicating verbally and in writing to diverse audiencesProactive self-starter; assertive and able to ensure that Product Design principles are adhered toStrong prioritization skills and ability to quickly re-prioritize in a dynamic environmentAnalytical mindset and creativity to balance detailed problem solving with ‘big picture’ strategic viewStrong collaborator across multiple teams and throughout large enterprises to advocate and constantly evolve research operations and processes to drive innovationDeep experience applying a wide array of tools to enable efficiency for the research teamsExpert communicator who builds strong relationships and partnershipsCreative in seeing the bigger picture, identifying key gaps, and solutioning to fill those gapsAbility toadapt or develop processes, tools, and approaches to improve research operations efficiencyOrganized and comfortable working in partnership with researchers who may have differing research support needs and timelinesExperience with software tools used for booking participant sessions (e.g., Microsoft Bookings, Calendly)Proficiency with tools used to house participant databases (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, etc.)Proficiency with tools used for participant screening questionnaires (e.g., Qualtrics, Medallia)Ability to manage multiple projects and execute on those projects within specified timelines
