Job Description

Job Purpose The User Experience (UX) Specialist is responsible for designing and optimizing engaging, intuitive, and effective employee experiences that delight users and support business goals. This role champions user-centered design principles, conducts thorough research, and collaborates across teams to ensure all products and services are easy to use, accessible, and enjoyable. The UX Specialist is a key advocate for the user, identifying pain points and opportunities for improvement throughout the product lifecycle. In this position you will have the opportunity to: Conduct user research, interviews, and surveys to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points. Translate research findings into personas, journey maps, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and mockups that inform product design and development. Design intuitive user interfaces and interaction models that enhance usability and satisfaction. Plan and execute usability testing, analyze results, and iterate on designs to ensure optimal user experience. Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, UI designers, and other stakeholders to align user experience goals with business objectives. Identify and resolve usability issues throughout the design process, providing actionable feedback and recommendations. Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX design. Advocate for the user in internal discussions, ensuring their needs are reflected in design and business decisions. Communicate design concepts and research findings effectively to technical and non-technical audiences. What do I need to be successful? Required Qualifications 3+ years of progressive experience in user experience design, user research, or a similar role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating successful outcomes. Proficiency with industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, InVision). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable design solutions. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and a passion for creating outstanding user experiences. Work Environment This position will work at home and in our Nashville office on a hybrid schedule Must live within a commutable distance to Nashville or willing to relocate to the greater Nashville area #LI-HYBRID
