Escape Tuscaloosa is an escape room company that serves fun and entertainment every hour to our clients. Groups come to us to celebrate their important occasions or just out on the town with friends. Very professional and friendly environment. We start all new staff at $10 and hour. You control your pay raise depending on how fast you are willing to learn, dependability, and willingness to take on new challenges. Moving upward with higher level of pay can be earned by hard-working staff.
Our work environment includes:
On-the-job training Casual work attire Lively atmosphere Must have a great personality and love working with people. A great positive attitude is required. Must be able to speak in front of large groups, look nice at all times, and be able to articulate and recite information. Must be able to effectively communicate instructions and rules and learn information quickly.
Tasks include:
Showing up on time in presentable attire. Must be reliable and show up for every shift. Greeting guests and helping with the check-in process Instructing guests about rules and how to play Putting guests into their rooms, assisting them throughout the room, and getting them out once finished Resetting rooms to prepare for next group of guests Keeping room in proper order through maintenance and cleaning. Must have basic math skills. Stable work history with longevity at previous jobs. Applicants that tend to call in work more than once a year, need not apply. Who is a great candidate for this job? College Students and people with full time jobs that want extra income. Additional hours will be offered based on availability of the applicant and skill level. Anyone that loves entertaining, gamers, and people that love to solve things. MUST be available one or two nights a week M-F starting at 3:30pm , Saturday starting as early as 10:30am, and Sunday after 1pm. If you are not available these shifts, do not apply. Staff usually only works 3-4 shifts a week and we will work around other job schedules and college classes as long as other shifts can be worked. Additional skills such as being able to use basic tools such as hammer, screwdriver and drill is preferred. Any art or theatre experience will be considered optimal. Escape room lovers are also great candidates.
