Escape Room Game Master Mr. Es Escape Rooms 9 Walter Martin Road NE, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548 Shifts are ON-CALL Must live in Fort Walton Beach NO shared Transportation. Must Have your own vehicle. Phone Calls inquiring about the Position will be disqualified. This blocks up our customer line. Emails only. Must have Shifts are ON-CALL, You arrive before a scheduled booking or report when walk-ins arrive. The position comes with a Bonus Pay in addition to working hours. Business hours range from 9 am to 1am. If you cannot work nights and weekends until closing, you will NOT be considered at this time. NIGHTS/WEEKENDS and Holidays are Required This position is primarily Nights and Weekends, some alternate shifts may become available-in the Fall. Do not apply if you cannot commit to these shifts. Must be 18+ and have, proven history of successfully working alone and with a team. Must have leadership history. All applicants are subject to background searches. Applicants must be able to pass State, Local, and Federal Background Checks. Those with a Criminal History will not be considered. Must have your own personal (non-shared) transportation. Must live within FWB city limits

“` Game Master/Host This job requires a lot of personality.

Crowd control, Event Management skills, and the ability to entertain a crowd. This is not the standard, ‘watch and wait,’ type of Game Master job. It requires the Game Master to create an ambiance, and rapport with the players. Think of it more as running a DnD Campaign or facilitating a Summer Camp recreational activity. If you read our reviews, you will notice Game Masters are a huge point of reference regarding enjoying the experience. Each event is customized to fit group’s needs. If speaking to a crowd, redirecting people, addressing confrontation, and maintaining high levels of observational skills are weaknesses, then this is not the position for you. You also must be able to successfully maintain operations independently. There will be shifts that require you to be the only on-site staff. You must be able to accommodate and entertain various demographics ( Language Barriers, Age Differences, Peers, Race, Religion, Social, etc) Confidence in serving all individuals without reflecting personal opinions is a must. “`

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests, providing them with an overview of the game rules and objectives
• Guide guests through the game experience, offering hints and assistance as needed
• Monitor game progress and ensure adherence to time limits
• Maintain a positive and engaging atmosphere throughout the game
• Handle POS system transactions and maintain an accurate record of participants
• Address any guest concerns or conflicts in a professional and timely manner
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of games and events
• Assist with event management, facility cleanliness, and stocking supplies.

Experience:

• Experience working with children in a recreational or educational setting is preferred
• POS transaction experience
• Public speaking skills to confidently address groups of varying sizes
• Hospitality or guest services experience is highly desirable
• Conflict management skills to handle challenging situations with tact and diplomacy
• Theater background or experience in performing arts is beneficial
• Events management experience is a plus Mr.
