Job Description:
As the Chief Game Master, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our escape room facility, ensuring that all team members are delivering exceptional customer service, and creating a fun and engaging atmosphere. You will be in charge of managing staff, coordinating bookings, ensuring the proper maintenance of rooms, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. This is a leadership role, and we are looking for a passionate, organized, and energetic individual to take charge of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day operations of the escape room facility. Lead, train, and motivate a team of game masters, customer service representatives, and other staff. Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and enthusiasm. Ensure all rooms are set up and maintained properly, including ensuring props, puzzles, and technology are functioning correctly. Coordinate bookings and manage reservations, ensuring smooth customer flow and scheduling. Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality service. Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the escape room environment. Assist with marketing efforts and promotions to drive bookings and enhance customer engagement. Maintain inventory of supplies and order replacements as necessary. Resolve any operational issues that arise, ensuring minimal disruption to customer experience. Keep track of room performance and customer feedback to continuously improve experiences. Perform light maintenance tasks to ensure puzzles and rooms are functioning properly.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a management or supervisory role, preferably in the entertainment, customer service, or hospitality industries. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage a team and interact with diverse customers. Passion for puzzles, games, and providing exceptional customer experiences. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Basic computer skills and experience with booking systems or POS systems is a plus. Previous experience in the escape room industry is a bonus, but not required.
