What You’ll Do
As a member of the Epic Audio Team, you will use your technical and creative skills to their fullest, helping define the future of interactive audio technology.
In this role, you will
Create and implement voiceover content for various key Fortnite assets at a high quality
Collaborate with voice directors and talent to create effective voiceovers for iconic characters
Develop sound and voiceover design skills to match the Fortnite aesthetic
Work closely with audio, art, animation, and design teams to troubleshoot and implement solutions
Utilize UE5 blueprints, MetaSounds and data assets to hook up and test voiceover assets
Evaluate mix and implementation of voiceover assets in-game, and adjust according to standards and gameplay needs
Look for opportunities to help with more advanced tasks as skills improve, and work with production to understand how to assist the team with deadline-based tasks
What we’re looking for
A good understanding of game audio experiences and the video game development process
At least 3 years of experience with voiceover recording, collaboration with director and talent, editing, processing techniques, and implementation
Passionate about game audio and voiceover; should be able to talk about and deconstruct other current games’ audio and voiceover quality and implementation
Ability to design, edit, mix, master and implement content for interactive and linear media under tight deadlines
Strong core competency in at least one major DAW
Previous experience in a game engine and familiarity with game development concepts
Ability to collaborate across disciplines to create effective audio
Strong self-management, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills; able to work independently while having a great team player attitude
This role is open to multiple locations in North America (including WA).

The expected annual base pay range(s) for this position are detailed below. Each base pay range is relevant only for individuals who are residents of or will be expected to work within the specified locale. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors, which include (but aren’t limited to) things such as skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and experience. In addition to base pay, most employees are eligible to participate in Epic’s generous benefit plans and discretionary incentive programs (subject to the terms of those plans or programs).
Washington Base Pay Range
$128,453—$183,398 USD
