Social Media Manager & Web Designer – Very Part Time Cooking For Long Island Veterans 501C3 Stony Brook, NY 11790 • Hybrid work Cooking For Long Island Veterans is a small non-profit that makes a big difference in Veterans Lives. We are looking for a person who can help switching from our current website platform to a new one. A p/t staff member is needed to help with social media reels and stories. As we serve the heroes of Long Island we hope to be able to share about our amazing accomplishments. We need a vibrant, organized part time social media coordinator to lead the way. Responsibilities Develop and implement social media strategies to enhance brand presence across platforms. Create engaging content and graphics using Adobe Creative Suite and Hootsuite. Monitor social media trends and audience engagement through social listening and analytics tools. Manage relationships with followers and respond to inquiries promptly. Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall branding and digital marketing goals. Conduct SEO and keyword research to optimize content visibility. Qualifications Proven experience in social media marketing and management Strong relationship management skills Proficiency in SEO and social listening techniques Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite Experience using Hootsuite for social media scheduling Skills in content creation, graphic design, and public relations Knowledge of Google Analytics and web analytics tools Ability to conduct keyword research and digital marketing strategies
