We are currently collecting resumes for a future job opening – Web Application Developer! OSS is seeking a Web Application Developer to support our valued government customers, experienced in technologies such as MS .Net, SQL Server, and JavaScript. The work is based out of Huntsville, AL, and is anticipated to be hybrid telework/onsite, but may eventually be 100% onsite given the current Return to Office trend. This individual should be experienced in translating raw customer requirements into fully functioning solutions that meet or exceed those requirements, to include the associated requirements verification, development, test, user acceptance, deployment, training, and sustainment activities. The primary focus will be automating government business processes, to include project, acquisition, funding, and schedule processes and related data. The user interfaces developed must both provide intuitive data management features, as well as meaningful visualizations of business data for utilization by customer senior management and functional leads.
Primary Duties:
Develop and maintain web-based applications utilizing tools such as MS .Net, SQL Server, and JavaScript Gather, maintain, and automate customer requirements into reliable and intuitive solutions Debug/troubleshoot code to ensure reliability Support deployed solutions and the users involved
Secondary Duties:
Collaborate with other OSS developers to assist with other customers, sharing lessons learned Develop training materials and train users on solutions
Required Experience and Skills:
Minimum of 4 years web application development experience in tools such as MS .Net, SQL Server, and JavaScript User interface development and data visualization Debugging / Troubleshooting Ability to understand and automate customer requirements Excellent organizational, time-management, and verbal/written communication skills Effective working both independently and as part of a team Ability to attain Secret Security Clearance (required before starting)
Preferred Experience and Technical Skills:
Microsoft Power BI Database design and stored procedure development Process analysis and process automation

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field CompTIA certification in Data+, Security+, or Microsoft development-related certification Security Clearance is required – therefore, only US citizens can be considered.
