Job Description:

Experienced Software Engineer / Web Developer to create webapplications for the intranet and extranet using C# .NET and SQL.Support web architecture, legacy applications, enterprise-wideapplications and software upgrades.

Qualifications:

BSCS, BSSE or equivalent. Five years? experiencewith C#. JavaScript and JQuery experience. AJAX and web servicesexperience. Leadership skills and software lead experience. Goodorganizational skills, excellent problem solving skills, excellentcommunication skills, and a willingness to work with teams andindividuals. Must demonstrate the ability to learn new skills, meetdeadlines, embrace new technologies, and follow process. Must becapable of gathering and interpreting requirements, have used someform of source control, and can review code, locate problems,provide and receive feedback on code. Must be able to self startand solve problems quickly. Must demonstrate ability to create userfriendly front ends and must be able to write maintainablecode.

Additional skills/tools considered a plus:

ColdFusion, HTML5, CSS3, MVC framework, SVN, Visual Studio, Toad/SQL Developer, MS SQLServer Management Studio, Dreamweaver, and IIS administration.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop C# .NET applications using VisualStudio 2010 or higher. Use SVN, JIRA, and Remedy for source controland issue tracking. Evaluate and recommend web architecture andprocess improvements. Troubleshoot web applications developedin-house and by external developers. Provide web applicationsupport for individual users and enterprise-wide applications usedby the division.

Education Requirement:

BSCS, BSSE, BSIS
