REQUEST FOR LETTERS OF INTEREST RLI-2025-1-WEB WEB DEVELOPMENT SERVICES PURPOSE
The Fort Lauderdale Downtown Development Authority invites qualified web designers to submit a letter of interest package for consideration to provide web development services for the agency. The letter of interest package should be emailed to Sarah Valleau, DDA’s Marketing & Creative Coordinator at sarah@ddaftl.org with copy to dda@ddaftl.org by May 14, 2025 with the minimum information below. The package should be sent as a .pdf format and include links that will bring you directly to the example websites. The package should be a maximum of 10 pages and should not include pricing. Minimum Information to
Include:
1.Company information (Company name, type of business, years in business, authorized agent, and proposed project lead); and 2.Qualifications & relevant experience; and 3.Examples of similar work (description with relevant links); and 4.Statement regarding the ability to deliver multiple website projects, with the first delivered by August 2025; and 5.References (5 max) Important note: The selected designer is expected to work on two different website projects within the first few months, with a target date of August 2025 for the first project and by October 2025 for the second. Opportunities for additional website projects, including the redesign of the agency’s main website, ddaftl.org, are anticipated in the future. Web Designer Responsibilities for

•Website Design & Development oDesign and build a new website, using the Wix platform. oCollaborate with DDA staff to incorporate provided brand guidelines, design ideas, and content needs.

Milledge, General Counsel oDeliver a visually appealing, mobile-optimized, and responsive site based on the individual project goals (to be provided later). •Functionality & Maintenance oEnsure the website is user-friendly for internal staff to make content edits, update event pages, and maintain core information without vendor assistance. oProvide basic built-in SEO capabilities (metadata, alt text, search-friendly structure) and ensure backend access for future optimization. oSet up monthly hosting and editing support, including up to 1 hour of edits per month, to assist with updates that cannot be handled in-house. •Ownership & Access oThe DDA will retain full ownership of the website, domain, and all related content and files. oTransfer of all credentials and admin access will be required upon project completion.
