Front End Developer Position Available In Duval, Florida

Description We’re seeking a Front-End Application Developer to support the rebuild of a Windows-based desktop GUI for advanced simulation software. You’ll work closely with a lead developer and back-end engineer to bring clean, intuitive interfaces to life using Svelte, TailwindCSS, and Tauri (or similar tools). This is a hybrid role based in Jacksonville, FL, focused on developing high-performance, user-friendly desktop applications in a Windows environment. Requirements 3-5 years of experience in front-end development Strong proficiency in Svelte and TailwindCSS, or comparable frameworks like Vue, React, Bootstrap, or Chakra UI Experience building desktop applications using Tauri, Electron, NeutralinoJS, or similar Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design Comfortable developing in Windows using Visual Studio or VS Code Familiarity with modern databases (e.g., SurrealDB, Firebase, Supabase, MongoDB, FaunaDB) Strong collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally Experience in simulation, gaming, or industrial/technical software is a plus Nice to have: familiarity with or exposure to C++ Technology Doesn’t Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
