Web Designer Qualifications:
Looking for a Web Designer to build and maintain new and existingwebsites for growing business-to-business customer base. Person must be experienced and proficient in the complete AdobeCreative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaverwith particular emphasis on InDesign. Deep understanding of CSS design principals, extensions likeSASS. Understanding and experience with responsive design principals. Understanding and experience with e-commerce engines such asMagento, Volusion, Big Commerce, etc. Exposure to modifying and supporting CMS platforms likeWordPress Position revolves around design skill and artistic abilityprimarily, but exposure to and working knowledge of the followingexceedingly helpful: Working knowledge of web programming languages such as JavaScript,PHP, XML, JQuery, and various web frameworks. Current knowledge of modern web design principles and practices.
Must be able to accept critique of works, be able to communicatewith non-technical people including customers. Must be able topresent self professionally in communications with clients throughemail, telephone and in person. Must be able to explain, in commonvernacular, what issues, constraints or other technical factors.
Must be able adhere to job requirements and work in a teamenvironment.
Preferences but not a requirement:
