Position Overview:
We’re seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead frontend development initiatives using modern web technologies, particularly Svelte and TypeScript. This role will be instrumental in architecting and delivering high-performance web applications while mentoring team members and establishing technical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect and develop sophisticated frontend solutions using Svelte, TypeScript, and related modern web technologies
Lead the technical direction of frontend development practices and establish coding standards
Mentor and guide development teams while fostering a culture of engineering excellence
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to streamline deployment processes
Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define technical requirements and solutions
Drive technical decision-making for frontend architecture and technology selection
Contribute to system design and architecture discussions across multiple teams
Implement best practices for testing, performance optimization, and accessibility
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of software development experience
8+ years of experience with modern frontend frameworks (Svelte, React, or Vue)
Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript
Extensive experience with DevOps practices and tools (Git, Docker, k8s, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines)
Proven track record of leading complex technical projects
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Strong understanding of web performance optimization and security best practices
Excellence in technical communication and documentation
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Svelte and SvelteKit
Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and solutions
Experience with microservices architecture
Familiarity with agile development methodologies

History of contributing to open-source projects
Experience with real-time applications and WebSocket implementations
