POSITION SUMMARY
Bayview is looking for a UI/UX front-end web developer with strong knowledge of
HTML 5, CSS
3 and Javascript. This role will be working closely with the Team lead and other developers in achieving optimum productivity. You will interact and communicate with other IT business units (Release Management, Business Analysts, Project Managers, etc.). You will be responsible for translating requirements into desktop, mobile, and responsive web solutions. This role will bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Document system design solutions and source code using standard requirement templates provided by the business analysts/release managers Follow outlined software architecture and designs provided Develop system solutions that meet both the quality standards and timelines as determined by the business Test software using proven testing frameworks, tools and techniques Work closely with quality assurance to remedy issues uncovered Follow specified change management process and documentation Participate in team meetings, provide input and suggestions Adapt and overcome problems Multitask and prioritize tasks independently; take on new tasks and adjust to an energetic, continually evolving environment
QUALIFICATIONS
AS/BS degree in Computer Science or related field with 4+ years of experience High level of interpersonal and communication skills Comfortably following organization rules, adhering to the employee handbook, company tenets, and the SDLC to understand those rules
SKILLS:
Required:
4+ years UI/UX Front-End and web development experience 4+ years of WordPress or similar web content management solution 2-4 years of ReactJS experience Strong command of essential front-end web technologies including
HTML 5, CSS
3, JavaScript, Git Ability to translate requirements into
HTML5/CSS3
cross-browser Strong understanding of document type representation in
XML, JSON
Solid understanding of cross-browser/platform issues and code solutions, as well accessibility and SEO considerations Understands and implements responsive layout development
Preferred:
Knowledge of client-side web development techniques and web services (AJAX, JSON, XML, Google Maps API, Third Party APIs) Knowledge of event driven Javascript async libraries (ie. Node.js, etc)
LOCATION
This role will be based in either (Bayview’s Coral Gables or Ft. Lauderdale, FL office) This role will be Hybrid (3 days in the office and 2 days remote)
