Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Developer with experience in both WordPress and Webflow to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-quality websites across both platforms for our diverse client base, ranging from political campaigns to nonprofits and small businesses. You’ll play a key role in bringing digital strategies to life through dynamic, responsive, and impactful web experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop custom WordPress themes and plugins tailored to client needs Build Webflow websites using the CMS, Designer, and custom code where needed Ensure all websites are responsive, accessible, and optimized for performance QA sites during staging and after deployment Collaborate closely with designers, content creators, and other developers to bring websites to life Manage ongoing maintenance, updates, and improvements for client websites Troubleshoot issues and implement fixes across both platforms Implement SEO best practices and optimize sites for speed and security Keep yourself and the team up to date on Kanban workboard

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience developing in both WordPress and Webflow, with a portfolio showcasing your work Proficiency in HTML5, CSS/SASS, JavaScript, and jQuery Familiarity with PHP and WordPress development standards Experience using Webflow’s Designer, CMS, and interactions Ability to write clean, reusable, and well-documented code Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time Willingness to learn NationBuilder CMS and Liquid templating for custom theme development Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience) English proficiency at least B1

Level Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

Knowledge of SEO, web performance optimization, and caching Experience with WP Engine and local development environments Familiarity with Webflow CMS structures and custom integrations E-commerce development experience Political or advocacy experience is a plus but not required Must be able to commute or relocate before starting work
