OVERVIEW
The Junior Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining our company’s web applications, as well as working with the IT department and our external web partner to design and implement new features.
EDUCATION
Associates Degree (Bachelors Degree preferred) or equivalent number of years relevant experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Working with internal clients (Digital Communications, Marketing, etc.) to develop the overall look and feel of all ministry websites. Create and maintain website code using the front-end technologies such as
HTML, CSS
(TailwindCSS), and Javascript. Knowledge of PHP and Laravel are a plus. Producing, maintaining, and modifying websites and user interfaces. Incorporating applications, graphics, audio, and video clips into ministry websites. Creating tools that enhance the user’s website experience. Ensuring websites are accessible across many platforms, including laptops and smartphones. Routinely testing websites for ease of use, speed, and other quality factors. Fixing any website issues or bugs that arise. Other projects as assigned.
WORK SCHEDULE
In the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday with the option of working remotely on Monday and Friday.
