WordPress Developer TicketGuard, LLC. Georgia • Remote Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, particularly with WordPress, WordPress Plugins specifically AffiliateWP and possess a keen eye for detail and design. This role involves maintaining, and enhancing our company WordPress platform website, as well as maintenance and monitoring of our AffiliateWP plugin revolving around our affiliate program ensuring optimal performance and user experience. You will work closely with the Director of Affiliate Marketing for our company as well as the CEO of our company. We are seeking someone who would consider growing into a permanent six-figure salaried position with our company going forward. Responsibilities Maintain our WordPress website and the AffiliateWP plugin. Implement responsive design principles to ensure website is mobile-friendly. Optimize website performance for speed and scalability. Manage database integration using MySQL or PostgreSQL for dynamic content. Conduct regular website updates, backups, and security checks. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website functionality or performance. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to web development. Qualifications Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role. Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with React for building interactive web applications is a plus. Experience with TypeScript is desirable for enhancing code quality. Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and integration techniques. Understanding of Ansible for automation of deployment processes is beneficial. Experience with JSP for server-side programming is a plus. Strong skills in wireframing and UX design principles to enhance user experience. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
