Senior Back-End Developer Position Available In Bristol, Massachusetts

Senior Back-End Developer Our client is seeking a Senior Back-End Developer to support the redesign and reengineering of two high-profile marketing websites. This role will focus on building a robust, scalable backend architecture that enables shared content and component functionality across a multi-site Wagtail environment. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical foundation in Python development and cloud infrastructure, along with an eye for clean, maintainable code and systems thinking. This role is fully remote. Senior Back-End Developer Responsibilities Configure, maintain, and enhance Wagtail-based websites to support a shared content architecture. Collaborate with front-end developers and designers to implement dynamic, modular components across multiple sites. Manage cloud infrastructure including deployment, monitoring, and database administration, with a focus on Google Cloud Platform. Write, review, and maintain scalable, well-tested code in Python 3. Contribute to architectural decisions and help define best practices for backend development within the project scope. Senior Back-End Developer Qualifications Proven experience working with Wagtail CMS, including setup, customization, and deployment. Strong proficiency in Python 3, with a focus on back-end web development. Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, particularly related to deployment workflows and database management. Ability to design and implement backend systems that support modular, reusable content structures across multiple websites. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with shifting priorities.
