Job Summary:
The Web Application Developer II will be responsible for designing, creating, maintaining and supporting custom web applications. This position will provide support and assistance to peers to resolve any system issues, and interface with customers (End Users and Client Users) to resolve custom interface and application challenges and resolve escalations. Principle Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain CRM tooling, enterprise applications, and customer-facing platforms, ensuring seamless integration with backend services and support of core business functions. Maintain and manage existing custom-developed applications and interfaces. Perform operational-support tasks, including payment processing, account management, automated communications, data integrity, and contact origination and servicing. Assist with daily file saves and nightly schedule setup, PC transfers, and file restores. Assist with month-end duties when necessary: updating the accounts, setting up pre-month end file saves, and setting up the month-end schedulers. Generate and print month-end reports. Collaborate with senior developers and project stakeholders to implement technical solutions that align with business requirements. Provide technical support and guidance to junior developers as needed to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices. Participate in unit testing, integration testing and debugging to ensure robust and reliable code. Contribute to the maintenance of technical documentation and system design records to support scalability and knowledge sharing.

Ability to work with the following equipment/software: Personal Computer/Laptop, Microsoft Office, and web application development tools and IDEs (e.g. GitLab, VS Code, etc). Familiarity with basic web application security principles, including protection against vulnerabilities like
XSS, SQL
injection, and CSRF. Understanding of responsive design principles and best practices for creating user-friendly interfaces. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and build automation tools to enhance development efficiency.
Work Experience:
Experience in system administration or a related field required. 5-10 years of experience in front-end or back-end web development, with exposure to full-stack frameworks and tools preferred. Proficiency in using command-line tools for Windows or Unix-based systems to manage and debug applications and scripts. Familiarity with build tools such as Maven for compiling, packaging, and managing dependencies in development workflows. Experience with version control systems such as Git for code management, collaboration and version tracking. Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive and user-centric applications.
Training and Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Programming, Systems Analysis or related preferred Associate’s degree or certified training in Computer Programming and Systems Analysis or commensurate combination of education and experience required.
