We are currentlysourcing for a Principal Front-End Software Engineer in Durham,NC!The RoleFidelity Institutional (FI) is looking for a PrincipalFront-End Full Stack Engineer with a focus in Angular to join theIntegrated Portfolio Construction team to implement innovativesolutions for financial advisors using the latest technology in acollaborative and engaging environment. You will play a leadingrole in the Agile development of analytical tools used in theportfolio construction process. These tools will be used by notonly members of the Fidelity Institutional Wealth Adviser (FIWA)Investment team but also partners across FI in discussions withexternal clients. Our development teams are highly collaborativeand encourage creativity, innovation, and excellence.

This engineerwill play a key role in elevating our UI architecture and delivery,collaborating closely with the Squad Lead and UX Designer todeliver high-quality, consistent, and user-centered experiences.

TheExpertise and Skills You BringKey Requirements:

Expertise inAngular, with a strong grasp of the latest features and bestpractices.

Hands-on experience with micro frontends and scalablefront-end architectures.

Ability to evaluate and guide decisions onFidelity Design System components vs custom components andthird-party libraries.

Strong communication and collaborationskills, with the ability to negotiate UX trade-offs and align withbroader design strategy.

Comfortable participating incross-functional discussions to drive UI/UX consistency acrosssquads.

Nice to

Have:

Exposure to Java Spring Boot for backendinteractions.

Familiarity with DevOps practices and cloudenvironments.

Experience with Cypress.io or similar tools for testautomation.
