Web Developer Quanterion Solutions Incorporated 266 Genesee Street, Utica, NY 13502 Job Summary We are seeking a talented and motivated Web Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in web development technologies and a passion for creating seamless user experiences. You will be responsible for designing, coding, and maintaining web applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Security Requirement:

This position requires the ability to gain and maintain security clearance thus meeting eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship required. Location – This in-position is located in Utica, NY. Duties Write maintainable and efficient back-end code using languages including PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, etc. Utilize front-end frameworks such as React, jQuery, etc. for centrally supported themes, templates, and applications and ensure code meets web accessibility standards. Design, build, implement, and modify high-performance APIs and third-party integrations to enhance web functionality. Develop and implement a mobile layout. Maintain a responsive website design that is compatible across various devices and screen sizes. Build, test, and maintain the backend functionality of WooCommerce store pages. Conduct code and web system reviews to identify and correct gaps in performance and/or functionality while optimizing websites’ speed, and scalability. Continuously monitor and optimize the website’s search performance using Google Search Console tools such as the Index Coverage report and Google Analytics. Coordinate with the Chief Technical Officer (CTO), IT Department, and others as needed to ensure proper security measures, network communications and server operations are in place. Conduct regular security audits, testing and debugging to safeguard web applications and ensure code accuracy and functionality. Develop and implement application policies, procedures, and standards and ensure their conformance with applicable laws and objectives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field. At least three (3) years’ experience related to web design, development, and maintenance. Demonstrated experience developing open-source CMS, such as WordPress. At least 2-years’ experience using Azure to create, host and manage web and mobile applications. Experience using app containers across diverse environments on-premises and in the cloud. Proven ability with database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB. Proven ability to design and develop in a manner that pays close attention to responsiveness and accessibility. Proficiency in using semantic HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) to develop clean, maintainable code. Demonstrated experience in back-end technologies such as Node.js, PHP, Go, Ruby on Rails, or Python. Understanding of version control systems such as Git to manage changes to source code, collaborate, and experiment without damaging the codebase. Demonstrated experience with WordPress and/or other web frameworks and CMSs. Experience in creating and managing open-source ecommerce platforms, such as WooCommerce, preferred. Experience developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting online payment platforms, such as Stripe, preferred. Join us in creating innovative web solutions that enhance user experiences!
