Back End Developer Position Available In Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Description We are looking for a skilled Back End Developer to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This role requires expertise in Odoo.sh v18 development, including back-end and website development, module creation, and integrations with external platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical abilities and a proven track record of delivering scalable solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop dynamic and responsive websites using Odoo.sh’s templating engine and JavaScript.
• Build and enhance back-end functionalities using Python within the Odoo.sh framework.
• Create and customize Odoo.sh modules and packages to meet business requirements.
• Design and modify views using Odoo.sh’s view engine to improve user experience.
• Extend and manage Odoo.sh data models for efficient data handling.
• Implement version control and deployment processes through GitHub.
• Collaborate on multi-company and multi-site projects, ensuring comprehensive data roll-ups to parent entities.
• Develop integrations between Odoo.sh and external platforms, including Azure SQL Database and other systems.
• Utilize Visual Studio for seamless integration development and debugging.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in enterprise application integration and cloud-based solutions. Requirements
• Proficiency in Python for back-end development.
• Demonstrated experience with Odoo.sh framework, including module and package creation.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and XML for web development.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly GitHub.
• Expertise in Visual Studio and API development for system integrations.
• Experience with Azure SQL Database and cloud-based application integration.
• Ability to work on multi-company and multi-site projects.
• Solid understanding of enterprise application integration processes.
