Backend XStore Tech Developer/Lead
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design of mobile POS, Oversee end-to-end delivery of mobile POS solutions, including integrations, peripherals
Guide cross-functional teams including mobile developers, backend engineers, testers, and UX designers
Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and development workflows
Design scalable and secure microservi
ces using REST APIs
Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and reliability of mobile POS applications.
Drive continuous improvement in development processes, tools, and team capabilities
Required Skills and Experience
10+ years in retail technology with 3+ years in POS systems (XStore v4.0), technical leadership role and experience with Xstore is preferred.
Strong hands-on experience with: React Native, Spring Boot, Java 21, Maven, SQL, REST APIs Spring Cloud, Tomcat, GitHub, POS hardware integration, Familiarity with ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, React JS, Ansible, and Azure AKS
Agile delivery leadership, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and stakeholder demos
Manage source control and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
