We are seeking a highly experienced Web Administrator to lead the deployment, configuration, and support of public-facing web applications hosted on Microsoft IIS. The ideal candidate will bring expert-level knowledge in managing web server environments, implementing secure authentication mechanisms, and supporting continuous integration and delivery pipelines.

Description Location:

When on-site presence is required, it will be at 335 Adams Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201; 2 Metrotech Center, Brooklyn, NY 11201; or other designated DIIT locations within the five boroughs of New York City, as determined.

Contingent Upon Award Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft IIS servers to support enterprise web applications. Monitor performance and ensure high availability of hosted applications. Troubleshoot web server and application-level issues, including logs, connectivity, and service uptime. Implement and maintain secure authentication mechanisms and authorization models for public-facing applications. Configure and support CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and updates. Coordinate with development, network, and security teams to support full-stack application lifecycle. Maintain documentation for server configurations, processes, and procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements:

7+ years of hands-on experience in web administration and server infrastructure management.

Technologies & Skills:

Expert in Microsoft IIS Proficient with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and IBM DB2 databases Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and authentication protocols Experience managing public-facing web applications

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with monitoring tools, log analyzers, and performance optimization for IIS. Working knowledge of scripting for automation (PowerShell, Bash). Strong documentation and communication skills. Background in enterprise or government environments is a plus.

Clearance Requirement:

As part of the security clearance process, all applicants must undergo a background investigation, which includes fingerprinting and the completion of an online background questionnaire.
