Vary •Flight Privileges Available•The Ramp Supervisor is responsible for the direct supervision of an assigned team of agents. The supervisor will ensure day to day productivity levels and customer service requirements are being met. What does a Ramp Supervisor do? Oversee day-to-day activities of specific shift operation including employee group Maintain accuracy of timekeeping Manage work load Ensure implementation of the Safety Management System (SMS). Implement safety plan for station. Maintain Quality Assurance oversight for operational issues relating to performance and safety, providing suitable corrective and/or preventative actions where necessary Properly utilize company and client vehicles and equipment Perform all required task of the Ramp Agent, if and when needed Report all discrepancies to the Account Manager and or General Manager. What skills are required to Join the Team? Must have at least 1 year of supervisor experience Must be 18 years or older Must have a valid driver’s license Previous Ramp and Cargo experience (Required) Operations or Airline experience preferred. Excellent communication skills Strong computer skills; Word, Excel, data entry skills Flexibility, multitasking and experience working in a changing environment Must submit to and pass a drug screen and background check Must meet all requirements to obtain an airport SIDA badge and Customs Seal (if applicable), including successfully completing a background check and ten-year work history. Must have a reliable mode of communication and transportation All applicants must consent to and pass a drug test as part of a conditional job offer. –
