Shipside Operations Specialist – Flight Line (Associate, Experienced)

Company:

The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking Shipside Operations Specialists to join the 787 Program Boeing South Carolina Delivery Center Operations Team in North Charleston, South Carolina on variable shift. This position will provide critical production support to the Delivery Center including improving production efficiency, safety and optimizing product quality.

Primary Responsibilities:

Use technical knowledge, understanding of process flow, and networking skills to ensure issues are addressed and resolved by responsible support organization. Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria. Analyzes and interprets data. Provides feedback on assessment results. Assist organizations in identifying reoccurring and high impact issues. Supports root cause analysis and corrective action plan to address reoccurring and high impact issues. Facilitate ongoing coordination and tracking of open items. Provide guidance and coaching to less experienced teammates. Works under general direction. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience): Ability to work any shift, overtime, holidays and weekends. 1+ years’ experience with operations analysis. 1+ years’ experience with root cause analysis. Experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 5+ years Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience. Proficient in using CMES software. Proficient in REDARS, PSDS, and BAC specifications. 2+ years of experience in a supportive LSCC role. 1+ year of flight line operations experience. 3+ years’ experience in the aerospace industry. Experience working with live customers.

Pay and Benefits:
