Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced School Bus Driver to join our transportation team. As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations in a timely and efficient manner. This position requires excellent driving skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to passenger safety.

Duties:

• Safely operate a School bus to transport students designated locations
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior
• Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure on-time arrivals
• Provide exceptional customer service to all
• Communicate effectively with passengers, colleagues, and supervisors
• Handle any passenger concerns or issues in a professional manner
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance

Qualifications:

• Valid CT CDL driver’s license with a clean driving record, and Passenger and School bus endorsements
• Experience preferred
• Experience working with children or in childcare settings is a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact with diverse populations
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
• Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic
