ELS is hiring for the position of Bus Driver in Ellenton, Florida.
What you’ll do: The Bus Driver provides transportation in coordination with the scheduled bus outings. The Bus Driver will be responsible for creating the monthly outing calendar and ensuring that the community bus operates in optimal condition.
Your job will include:
Ensure the safety of all passengers. Creating a monthly calendar of resident outings that bring education, entertainment and shopping.
Complete a comprehensive daily written inspection of the community bus and report any conditions of concern to the Property Manager. Ensure the completion of routine maintenance of the vehicle. Ensure that the vehicle is clean and free of debris. Experience & skills you’ll need: High school diploma preferred. Valid Class B driver’s license with passenger endorsement, good driving record and current auto insurance. Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC), Form
MCSA-5876.
Ability to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle in accordance with all local, state, federal and Department of Transportation regulations. Current knowledge of highway safety rules and regulations. Ability to successfully pass drug, background and driving record screenings.
