RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Driver shall keep the Florida School Bus Drivers Handbook accessible while driving a school bus
  • Transport students to and from school and other types of tips safely
  • Those responsibilities as outlined in the State of Florida, Department of Education, School bus Drivers’ Handbook, 1990 Edition or later. These responsibilities must be adhered to by all school bus drivers.
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Other duties as assigned by the site administrator
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
  • Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with the District’s approved compensation plan.

Length of work year and hours of employment shall be those established by the District

EVALUATION
  • Performance to be evaluated annually by the Transportation Coordinator in accordance with Board Policy for evaluation of non-instructional personnel Help for Employer Information.
