SEASONAL BUS DRIVERS NEEDED URGENTLY!

Transit Connection Inc. (TCI) is the contracted operator of Martha’s Vineyard Transit Authority, a public transit system. We serve the residents and visitors to our island; accounting for over 891,000 trips annually! We operate 14 fixed routes to conveniently transport passengers to and from work, play, beaches, shopping, etc. Our bus operators serve as ambassadors to our beautiful community and are the heart and soul of the Vineyard! Summer Season starts mid-May and runs through to October. CDL w/ Air Brake and Passenger Endorsements

DRIVERS ONLY

. No family members, significant others, etc. allowed. No pets are allowed in driver housing.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate a bus or van to transport passengers to and from designated locations Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving Maintain a clean and organized vehicle Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their safety and comfort Provide excellent customer service, addressing passenger inquiries and concerns Follow established routes and schedules, while also being flexible to accommodate changes or delays Ensure the safety of all passengers, including properly securing wheelchair-bound individuals if necessary
