Duties Operate a bus in a safe and efficient manner while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Ensure the safety of all passengers during transit, including conducting pre and post-trip inspections of the vehicle. Manage passenger behavior, providing guidance and support as necessary to maintain a positive environment. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, especially those with disabilities or special needs. Maintain accurate records of routes, passenger counts, and any incidents that may occur during transit. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other staff members regarding schedules and any issues that arise. Provide exceptional customer service to all passengers, addressing their needs with professionalism and care. Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in bus driving is preferred. Previous experience working with children or individuals with special needs is highly desirable. Ability to manage behavior effectively in a group setting. Strong communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Familiarity with paratransit services and school bus driving is a plus.
