Job Description We are seeking a School Bus Driver who willplay a crucial role in ensuring the safe and reliable transportation ofchildren and teens to and from their designated locations. The primaryresponsibility will be to operate a school bus in compliance withtraffic laws and company safety policies, prioritizing the safety andwell-being of all passengers. Responsibilities Your responsibilities asan School Bus Driver will include:

Safe Transportation:

Safely operate aschool bus to transport students to and from their designated locations,strictly following traffic laws and company safety policies.

Pre-TripInspection:

Perform daily pre-trip inspections to ensure the bus is inproper working condition, reporting any defects or issues to themaintenance department.

Student Safety:

Ensure the safety and well-beingof all passengers on the bus, including students with special needs, byproperly securing passengers, assisting with boarding and disembarking,and maintaining discipline.

Route Familiarity:

Be familiar with assignedroutes and stops, adapting to changes when necessary, and maintainingaccurate route and time records.

Emergency Procedures:

Be trained andready to execute emergency procedures, including evacuation and firstaid if required.

Compliance:

Comply with all relevant federal, state,and local regulations governing the operation of a school bus, as wellas company policies.

Vehicle cleanliness:

Keep the bus clean and free ofdebris, ensuring that safety equipment and emergency exits areunobstructed. Required Experience To succeed in this role, you shouldpossess the following qualifications: Valid Commercial Driver’s License(CDL) with school bus endorsement. Clean driving record Strongcommitment to safety and professionalism. Excellent communication skillsAbility to work independently and maintain composure in challengingsituations. High school diploma or equivalent. 60 hours of trainingclassroom and road test for new Trainees. 40 Hours if they currentlyhave their CDL Class A Previous school bus driving experience ispreferred but not required.
