The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations while ensuring a high level of customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work with diverse populations. Responsibilities Safely operate a bus or mini bus to transport passengers to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior. Assist passengers as needed, including individuals with disabilities. Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information about routes and schedules. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Manage time efficiently to ensure timely arrivals and departures. Complete necessary paperwork accurately, including incident reports if required. Qualifications Valid CDL driver’s license Class B with a clean driving record; bus driving experience is preferred. Ability to communicate effectively in English; bilingual or multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Experience in school bus driving or paratransit services is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks. Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with diverse groups of passengers, including seniors.
