We’re looking for a dependable and caring Van Driver / Bus Monitor to help safely transport our children and support our mission of quality childcare. Job Summary As a Van Driver / Bus Monitor, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of children to and from our center. This role ensures a high level of safety, supervision, and communication during each trip. Key Responsibilities Operate a school van safely to transport children. Serve as a bus monitor, assisting with boarding and supervision. Ensure all children are buckled in age-appropriate car seats or seat belts. Assist children in and out of the vehicle safely. Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle. Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly. Maintain clear and accurate transportation logs. Communicate effectively with staff and families regarding scheduling or behavior issues. Qualifications Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License required (CDL Class B with Passenger/School Bus endorsements a plus). Clean driving record (Motor Vehicle Report). Must pass Pennsylvania child abuse clearances, background check, and drug screening. Prior experience working with children or in a childcare setting preferred.
