Responsibilities

• Transport students to and from school and related activities in a timely manner
• Ensure the safety and security of all passengers during transport
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure optimal performance and safety
• Adhere to all local traffic laws, regulations, and school policies
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle at all times
• Assist students while boarding and exiting the vehicle, ensuring they are secured with seat belts if applicable
• Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and transportation coordinators about any issues or changes in schedules
• Report any maintenance issues or incidents involving the vehicle or passengers immediately to management Requirements
• Valid commercial driver’s license
• Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations
• Previous experience in driving school buses or vans is preferred
• Strong understanding of child safety practices and transportation regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and positive in challenging situations
• Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and late afternoons
