Responsibilities Operate transit buses safely and efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and regulations. Provide excellent customer service, assisting passengers with questions and concerns while ensuring a comfortable travel experience. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring it is in safe operating condition. Maintain accurate records of routes, schedules, and passenger counts as required. Manage time effectively to adhere to established schedules while remaining flexible to accommodate special situations. Report any incidents, accidents, or mechanical concerns to the appropriate authorities and ensure compliance with safety protocols. Engage in regular training and development programs to enhance driving skills and customer service capabilities. Requirements Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with passenger endorsement. Proven experience as a bus driver or in a similar customer service role preferred. Excellent driving record with strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations. Ability to navigate efficiently and adhere to scheduled routes. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and team members. Capability to manage stress and effectively handle difficult situations professionally. Commitment to providing exemplary service and a reliable experience for all passengers.
