The ideal candidate will be committed to providing safe and reliable transportation services, ensuring the comfort and well-being of passengers. This role requires strong communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to handle various driving situations with professionalism. Responsibilities Safely operate a bus or van on designated routes, ensuring timely arrivals and departures. Provide exceptional customer service to passengers, assisting with boarding and disembarking as needed. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, conducting regular inspections to ensure safety and functionality. Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information about routes, schedules, and any necessary assistance. Document daily activities, including mileage, passenger counts, and any incidents or mechanical issues encountered during shifts. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining a safe driving record. Assist in the care of individuals with disabilities, demonstrating compassion and patience. Collaborate with team members to address any operational challenges. Requirements Valid CDL Class B driver’s license with with a clean driving record; experience as a bus driver or van driver is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge to identify basic vehicle issues and perform minor troubleshooting. Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus. Ability to write clear reports regarding daily operations and incidents. Must be able to pass background checks and meet any additional requirements set by local transportation authorities.
