All drivers joining the team are required to use their own vehicle to deliver all parcels. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and packages efficiently and safely to various locations. This role requires excellent driving skills, strong customer service abilities, and the capability to manage heavy lifting tasks (up to 50lbs). As a Courier Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of service. Duties Drive a designated route to deliver packages and goods to clients in a timely manner. Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring safe handling of all materials. Deliver small packages using your OWN vehicle adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking shipments and obtaining necessary signatures. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation. Assist in planning efficient delivery routes to optimize time management. Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier is preferred. Strong understanding of route driving and navigation skills within the local area. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50lbs.) tasks as required during loading and unloading processes. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and clean criminal record. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance is an advantage.
