The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and packages efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate routes effectively. As a Courier Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Operate delivery vehicles safely and responsibly while adhering to traffic regulations. Load and unload packages using equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary. Plan and follow efficient routes for timely deliveries to various locations. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery status and any potential delays. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking information and customer signatures. Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and compliant with safety standards. Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients and recipients. Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including sorting packages and preparing shipments. Qualifications Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver preferred. Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Ability to lift and move packages of varying weights safely. Previous experience using warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks is a plus. Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
