The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely and efficient delivery of packages and goods to various locations. This role requires strong driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle heavy lifting. The Courier Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through prompt and safe deliveries. Responsibilities Operate box trucks, vans, or other vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Follow assigned routes and schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload packages, ensuring proper handling of items during transport. Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring that all items are securely loaded. Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation for each route. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability. Utilize manual transmission vehicles when necessary for specific deliveries. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization. Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Must have active auto insurance policy with liability coverages of 100k per person 300k per occurance and 100k for property damage. As needed bloodborne pathogens training and HIPPA compliance training Experience as a delivery driver or courier preferred. Ability to operate box trucks, vans, or other delivery vehicles safely. Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems. Experience with heavy lifting and moving of packages (up to 75 pounds). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently with little to no supervision Willingness to work flexible hours, days, nights, evenings and weekends Must be drug free and no DUI’s or felonies in the last 10 years.
